Varun Tej starring Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Valmiki) movie directed by Harish Shankar is now on the big screens. Let us go into the review of the movie.
The story is about an aspiring director Abhilash (Atharvaa Murali) desperate to make a film on the dreadful villain. In the process of film making Abhilash choose Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Varun Tej) as a lead character to his movie, who settle the issues by hook or crook in his area. How he finally manages to make his movie is the crux of the story.
Varun Tej’s action with this movie proves his versatile acting skills. His action and dialogue delivery in the Telangana accent hold spectators high throughout the movie. Atharvaa Murali in a filmmaker role has done a great job. Pooja Hegde, although her appearance in the movie has less time but had a great impact on the story. Director Harish Shankar entertained and engaged the spectators in all angles with action, comedy, emotion, and love. Harish Shankar utilized supporting characters significantly and generated fun which elevated the movie whenever it goes down. Evergreen Sridevi and Shoban babu “Velluvachi Godaramma” song is another asset to the movie. The music and background score elevated the action scenes high. Cinematography by Ayananka Bose is excellent in establishing a rural background effect.
The run time of the movie is long. The editing of the movie is not sharp. In some scenes the Telangana accent used by Varun tej is unusual. Few shots in the second half resemble Purihagnaths Neninthe movie.
Gaddalakonda Ganesh movie is an action-packed mass entertainer with heavy fun loaded. Although it appears as a mass movie, it is enriched with all flavors which satisfy an average moviegoer. One can say with this movie Varun Tej excelled and emerged as a full-fledged actor.
